Wash it off very gently and dry your skin with the pat dry method. Invest some money in a soft towel as it really helps. Do this treatment daily during the eczema flare up. It is quite gentle on skin and doesn’t hurt. Tip : Go for unpacked, unprocessed oats if you can as they are free from packaging chemicals which may be harmful.
2. Almond Paste:

3. Turmeric Paste:
Turmeric is a powerful healer of most skin disorders and is as effective as clay for eczema in many people. It is more well noted for psoriasis treatment ,but it works for eczema too.
4. Olive Oil:
The benefits of olive oil for skin are well known to mankind. One can as well try olive oil on the eczema lesions and see if they provide relief. As a precautionary measure, use olive oil on only one or two of the lesions. Another way to use olive oil is this.Add a pinch of turmeric to 1 tablespoon olive oil and massage it on eczema lesions. Keep it overnight, do not wash it off until next morning. This works better than pure olive oil because “curcumin” ( a special anti-inflammatory ingredient ) in turmeric is better absorbed in presence of fats.
5. Coconut Oil:
The proponents of coconut oil use it for nearly every condition that afflicts humans. It is deeply moisturizing for skin, very gentle and has a good smell. It is known to penetrate deep into the skin layers and heal it. Make sure you use Virgin Coconut Oil only.Apply a thin layer of coconut oil on eczema lesions 3 times a day. Follow this routine for a week and notice the difference. Snap pictures of a prominent lesion on the start of treatment and on seventh day.
Notice The Difference: Coconut oil calms the need for itching. This prevents the person from scratching skin vehemently and he or she can make do with gentle patting of the skin to calm the itch. In due course of time, the eczema lesion may subside and vanish. On the other hand, if it is itched and meddled with, it inflames all the more and may lead to even more breakouts. Taking coconut oil internally may also help in eczema, as it helps in many other conditions.
6. Chamomile Tea:
The tea made from chamomile is very soothing. The tricky part is how to apply it over the skin. For that, take a clean gauze and wrap it over the skin. Put chamomile tea in small amount and trap it in the gauze. Keep the body part still and let the skin absorb nutrients from chamomile tea. Remember to make the tea strong, steeping again and again so that it is darker and more concentrated. Otherwise the amount of chamomile nutrients would be small.
