Alopecia Areata is a condition that results from severe Hair Loss on the different parts of the body including the scalp, brows, beard. This common disease is often associated with autoimmune disease; that is the immune system of the person attacks his own body. The cause of Alopecia Areata is not yet scientifically determined. However, dermatologists have pointed some of the major factors that cause alopecia areata. Home Remedies For Alopecia:
1. Fenugreek Seeds:
Proteins and nicotine in fenugreek seeds promotes hair growth and helps rebuild dormant hair follicles. Soak 1 cup of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. Then, grind them to form smooth a paste. Spread it on your hair, and put on a shower cap. After about 45 minutes, wash off your hair. Do it daily for a month to get lustrous locks.
2. Onion Juice:
Being packed with antibacterial properties, onion juice wards off germs that cause scalp infection and leads to hair fall. Apply onion juice on the scalp, and shampoo after half an hour.
- Or else, add 2 tbsp of aloe Vera gel in 3 tbsp of onion juice; and spread it on your strands.
3. Beetroot:
Take some water, add beetroot leaves and henna in it. Boil the mixture; and later, apply it on the scalp. Keep it for 15 minutes. Rinse with fresh water. Do this three to four times a week to nourish your strands. You can also include its juice in your everyday diet for healthy hair and accelerate their growth.
4. Flax seeds:
The richness of omega-3 fatty acids induces hair growth and strengthens your locks. Take a tbsp of grounded flax seeds followed by a glass of water every morning. Or else, sprinkle them on soups, salads and smoothies.
- Alternatively, include flax seed oil in your diet or apply it on the scalp.
5. Garlic:
Get some garlic cloves and crush them. Now, pour some coconut oil on the crushed cloves. Stir and boil the mixture for a few seconds. After it reaches room temperature, massage your scalp with it. Wash off after half an hour. Perform this remedy twice a week.
6. Potato Water:
Boil some potatoes in water. Strain the water and keep potatoes aside. Allow it to cool down. After shampooing, simply rinse your hair with potato water. This remedy will nourish your hair, and also give you longer hair.
7. Egg:
The richness of sulfur and protein in egg makes it an excellent remedy for all the hair issues. Beat one egg and separate its yolk. Add one tsp of olive oil in egg white. Whip it properly, and spread on the entire scalp. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash off with a mild shampoo.
8. Lime Seeds:
Crush dried lime seeds and add grounded pepper to it. Combine both ingredients and add water to form a smooth paste. Massage your hair with this paste. Doing this once a week will provide significant results.
9. Alcohol and Pepper:
Take 45 ml of alcohol or vodka, and sprinkle a teaspoon of grounded pepper. Now add warm water to this mixture. Rinse your scalp with this concoction once a week.
10. Tobasco Sauce:
In order to prevent hair loss, add a few drops tobasco sauce in your favorite shampoo. It is very effective for the treatment of alopecia.
